2012 BUSD KINDER ENROLLMENT

Attention parents of incoming kinder students to the Burbank Unified School District.

Following are links and information for the upcoming meetings being held this week for parents of children entering kindergarten.

Please consider attending any one of these meetings if you have questions and need information.  Entering kindergarten is a big deal, these meetings are very informative and will help to answer many of your questions.

http://www.burbankcouncilpta.org/  is the main Burbank PTA Council website, and it has links to their Facebook page.  

http://www.burbank.k12.ca.us/  is the main Burbank School district website.  From here, you can find all your contact info, registration information, school info, and lots of other great stuff.

http://www.burbank.k12.ca.us/index.aspx?page=1093  is the page on the BUSD site that explains enrollment, including information for those who live outside of Burbank and wish to enroll their children in our schools.

Children who will be 5 years old by November 1st can register for Kindergarten.  

Children who will turn 5 between Nov. 2nd and December 2nd should have the opportunity to enroll in Transitional Kindergarten.  Parents interested in enrolling for either should attend a meeting, or contact the school district for more information.
