Dear Burbank Families,
We’re excited to share that a new Burbank Parent Education Council Sponsored Holiday Basket Program is launching this year to continue a beloved local tradition! When the Burbank Coordinating Council that previously coordinated the baskets closed last year, our nonprofit stepped in to keep this important effort going for our community.
Each selected household will receive one week of groceries (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), basic toiletries and cleaning items, and modest gifts for children (typically 1–2 gifts per child, about $20–$30 each).
If your household could use a little extra support this holiday season, we encourage you to apply. Eligible families must live in Burbank (ZIPs 91501–91506) or have a child enrolled in the Burbank Unified School District (including Burbank Parent Education). Priority is given to families with the greatest financial need or recent hardship. All applications are handled with privacy and dignity.
To donate or learn more, please visit burbankparented.org or contact Lucía Floríndez-Cox, BPEC Community Service Chair at donationsandcommunity@bpecouncil.org.
Applications are open now through Friday 11/7/2025 at 11:59pm. Applications can be found here: https://forms.gle/HTqyhm4xPc596sCr8. Feel free to share this resource with those who may be interested.
