March 18, 2020
Dear Friends of the Burbank Parent Education Council,
Our spin in Havana will have to wait for another day.
The community’s health and welfare is our greatest concern. Given the latest guidelines for slowing the spread of Covid-19, limiting large gatherings is the responsible thing to do. Therefore, we have made the decision to postpone the 2020 BPEC Gala that was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4th.
We appreciate your patience as our all-volunteer board works to get a rescheduled date out to you as soon as possible. If you purchased a gala ticket or VIP table, your tickets will be honored for the new date. While it would be wonderful to see you all at the Gala later in the year, if you are unable to attend please consider donating your ticket price to BPEC. More information about previously purchased tickets is available below and if you have any questions, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The BPEC Gala is more than just a fundraiser. It’s a chance for parents to come together outside of the classroom, a reunion, and a wonderful way to honor the Burbank Parent Education Program community. In the meantime, we can assure you that the BPEC will continue to support the Burbank Parent Education Program by being a resource to our families during this uncharted time.
