The Burbank Parent Education Program is a wonderful resource for parents and children alike. Classes provide an excellent opportunity for parents to meet other local parents and learn about age-specific child development topics. The children have the opportunity to play indoors and out, create art projects, dance and sing songs, and interact with children of similar or varying ages depending on the class. In addition to our classes, the Burbank Parent Education Program also offers a number of workshops and events throughout the year.
Let the children play, sing songs, experience painting and other crafts and interact with other children. Parents have discussions about child development and all kinds of parenting issues. All parenting styles are honored. Our philosophy is that children learn through play. Learn the tools for raising self-reliant, responsible, and kind children. As of May 2020, the Burbank Unified School District is planning for classes at the Burbank Parent Education Program to begin the week of August 17th - 21st for the Fall 2020 semester.
